Pickering provided architecture and structural engineering services for the expansion of Dorman Products Production and Distribution Facility in Robertson County, Tennessee.

The facility is 815,000 SF and serves as a distribution center for Dorman Products, a leading aftermarket supplier of original replacement parts, automotive hardware, brake parts and fasteners for both automotive and heavy vehicles. The initial buildout was 815,000 SF. Shortly after the facility opened, Pickering designed a 185,000 SF addition bringing to 1,000,000 SF.

Panattoni Development Company and WCA Land and Development partnered in this joint venture. Pickering provided design services for Panattoni Development Company and Alston Construction.

The project was awarded 1st pace for the NAIOP Middle Tennessee Commercial Development of the Year.
