Rick was born and raised in Oxford, MS. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He and wife, Clair, have two sons.

Why engineering?

The easy answer here is “when you know, you know”. I remember as a young kid growing up in Oxford that if there was road construction going on anywhere, I would ride my bike and just watch them work all day. I was probably the only 7-year-old who knew how to finish concrete.
