Pickering Firm, Inc. was hired by the Pearl River Valley Water Supply District (PRVWSD) to complete a National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Preliminary Environmental Assessment and assist in congressional briefing for the Bob Anthony Parkway Pearl River Crossing Relocation project in Madison and Rankin Counties, Mississippi.

Services completed as part of this project include:

1. Reviewed existing environmental and permitting data

2. Conducted scoping meetings with resource agencies, as necessary

3. Reviewed and incorporated available information for the development of the Purpose and Need Statement for the project

4. Performed visual, on site inspections of the project and surrounding area to obtain relevant geospatial and other

5. site-specific data in order to determine potential project impacts to wetlands, threatened and endangered species, hazardous waste sites, classified lands, and environmental justice considerations, among others

6. Initiated official correspondence with the appropriate federal, state, and local regulatory officials and resource agencies

7. Provided project funding support services
