Pickering provided design services for a Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) project to construct a rural roundabout at the intersection of SR 27 and Lee Avenue/Old Highway 27 No. 1 in Copiah County, the first rural roundabout in the state of Mississippi.

This project won the ACEC of Mississippi's Grand Award for 2018.
